'Fort Apache'
Y Company Headquarters, 1st Battalion, the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, Basra, Iraq, May 2003. The soldiers commonly referred to this old naval storage facility as 'Fort Apache.' When I visited the location I made a sketch of this view of the gateway (looking outwards from the fort).
